Is BBL ProfitSystem being discontinued?

BBL Systems has moved ProfitSystem — WinBPS, WinTPOS, and WinTPS — into maintenance mode and is no longer taking new customers. It still runs, but it won't gain new features, and the machine it lives on stays your responsibility.

Will I lose my brides, orders, and history if I leave ProfitSystem?

No. Send Sixpence an export and we bring your brides, inventory, and order history across for you. Your old system keeps running untouched the whole time, so nothing is ever only in one place.

Is there an importer for WinBPS or WinTPOS?

Not a self-serve one yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. We do the ProfitSystem migration by hand, with you on the phone — and there's no migration fee.

Question 4

Do I have to shut down ProfitSystem to switch?

Accepted Answer

No. Run both side by side as long as you like. Move over when you've seen your own data in the new system and you're ready — not before.

What does switching from ProfitSystem cost?
